Another day ... another euro ...

Not too much in the mood to write today. At work it's the same old thing, nothing much interesting anymore. I've been here a bit over two years now, and I'm getting mega-bored.

So, I started reading about LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol). In short, you setup some servers to supply directory service. Interesting and it can get quite complex, more later.

Today here in Paris, it is sunny and cold. Tonight at the track, they had a good training session, the track had time to dry a bit since yesterday's rain. For the French speaking PC users reading here, go to WinLibre. You'll find a package consisting of FREE software. This package is designed to replace all those expensive packages that you probably dreamed of installing on your computer.

On the FireWall side of the Mac, I've been having a bit of a problem hardening my Mac more than the factory configuration. It seems I'm overdoing it a bit, so that the Mac can't connect outside anymore. When I'm finished, I'll post the firewall rules here, hopefully soon !
