Long time

Well, it's been a while since I wrote here.

Saturday, I got my brand new custom made inline speed skating boots, made here in Paris by a friend. They are great, what can I say more. Compared with my previous pair which were made in another country, the big advantage is that the shop is in the same city I live in. I went and put my feet directly in the carbon base just before he finished installing the leather, that's another advantage you make sure everything is ok at each step of the process.

Anyway, today I went to training and wore them for about an hour and 40 minutes. All things considerer, and taking into account the fact that your feet need to adapt a bit and that the padding and the leather need to stretch, I'm confident that everything will go well.

I also tested a new brand of inline frames, these are cut directly in the block of aluminum alloy. They are really stiff, and they do have a good response. The 4x100mm are really short, great for short tracks. I'll test the 4x105mm soon (I'll get them tomorrow !), of course they are a bit longer. Actually they are the same length as other brands of 4x100mm. You can see them here, the first picture is actually of the frames I tested tonight.
